Centraide
March of 1,000 Umbrellas
Official
Kick-Off of Centraide Campaign Co-Chaired by Rémi
Marcoux
It was Transcontinental’s Rémi
Marcoux and BCE’s Michael J. Sabia, along with Michèle
Thibodeau-DeGuire from Centraide, who opened the march of
10,000 participants at the kick-off to the annual Centraide
of Greater Montreal fundraising campaign. Rémi Marcoux
is asking everyone to be generous: “This collective
effort to fight poverty will have an impact that benefits
the whole community. Remember, every donation is important!”
The fundraising target of $50.5 million was announced at
the launch.
