Transcontinental’'s Annual Meeting of Shareholders: Transformation and Longevity

Transcontinental held its annual meeting of shareholders on Thursday, February 18th. Rémi Marcoux, Executive Chairman of the Board and founder of Transcontinental; François Olivier, Chief Executive Officer; and Benoit Huard, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, addressed some 200 guests at Le Windsor, in Montreal. 

Management reviewed the financial results for 2009, the decisions required to deal with the recession and the Corporation’'s choices, the avenues of development and the long-term success of the company. In short, they painted a clear picture of where the company has been and where it’'s headed. The words “"transformation",”"innovation" and “"sustainable development" formed a backdrop to the meeting.
