Fairborn, Ohio May 29, 2009 – Transcontinental Inc. announced today that it is selling its Transcontinental Miami Valley, a printing plant specialized in insert printing for local retailers, to a company controlled by Mr. Ralph Pontillo. “Following a review of our business objectives, we have decided to sell Transcontinental Miami Valley,” said Norrie Meth, Senior VP, Retail Group, Transcontinental Printing. Given the more than 20 years of an exceptional relationship, I want to thank all of the employees of Transcontinental Miami Valley for their support and commitment and I wish management all the best moving forward.’’

Ralph Pontillo, general manager of the plant and new owner, added: “This new start is a unique opportunity to keep serving our customers while preserving jobs and making a vital contribution to the local economy.
