that Transcontinental Direct in Pennsylvania, a leading direct
marketing service provider, has been recognized for its commitment
to the environment and management of its recycling program.
David Cutler Industries, a recycling specialist to the graphic
arts industry, presented its “Outstanding Recycling
Achievement Award” for the volume of paper recycled
last year by Transcontinental Direct’s Warminster and
Hamburg, Pennsylvania printing and direct mail operations.

In presenting the award, David Cutler Industries noted that
Transcontinental Direct had recycled more than 11,000 tons
of paper in 2006, saving 193,000 trees, more than 4 million
gallons of oil, 34,000 cubic yards of landfill space, nearly
80,000 gallons of water and more than 45 million
kilowatts of energy.

protection, receiving various awards in recognition of its
efforts since it implemented its first environmental policy
in 1993.
