Nstein Technologies inks deal with Transcontinental Media, a leader in the Canadian publishing industry
Nstein’s Ntelligent Content Management Suite to power Transcontinental’s digital content publishing strategy

Montreal, Quebec, October 30, 2006 – Nstein Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: EIN), a leader in multilingual text mining and information access solutions, today announced the signature of a contract with Transcontinental Media, Canada’s largest publisher of consumer magazines. This important deal involves the deployment of Nstein’s Ntelligent Content Management (NCM) Suite to allow Transcontinental to optimize the publication and administration of over 20 online information portals. NCM will also power a collaborative web-based publishing platform featuring advanced text-analytics tools and fed by multiple content sources, namely Transcontinental’s various publications.

Developed in partnership with European-based Eurocortex, NCM Suite will make online searches easier and faster for Transcontinental portals, using a series of powerful semantic analysis tools. The comprehensive portal reengineering project will kick off with Canadian Living (www.canadianliving.com), one of the most popular mainstream websites in the country.

“This investment proves once again how committed we are at Transcontinental Media to heightening online visibility and better serving our users and advertisers, as outlined in our Evolution 2010 business plan,” said Zouhaire Sekkat, Vice President, Digital Media at Transcontinental Media. “NCM Suite is one of the most comprehensive and innovative solutions on the market. It will help us maximize the value of our product by providing more content more quickly to our users and to better serve their research-related needs. With its vast experience with the worldwide online publishing industry, Nstein is the ideal partner to deploy this type of solution.”

Mario Girard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nstein Technologies, said: “Licensing Ntelligent Content Management Suite to a publisher of Transcontinental’s calibre clearly shows the industry how compelling our solution is. We are proud to be able to work with Transcontinental to optimize their operational processes and help them achieve a faster time-to-market for their products.”
