Transcontinental is Canada's largest distributor of advertising material. We deliver over three billion pieces a year, either directly through Publisac in Quebec, or through our newspapers and partners in the rest of the country. In Quebec alone we deliver an average of 60 million advertising items a week to three million households. Retailers are looking for increasingly sophisticated targeting and data management services so that they can maximize their advertising dollar. Our software identifies the most promising consumers and makes it possible to reach them more directly by delivering a flyer to specifically targeted neighbourhoods. The multi-version flyer has now become a regular feature.

PressExpress: Innovating for Our Advertisers

Every magazine publisher knows that giving advertisers more time to prepare their ads can make all the difference in terms of both production and profitability.

And that is what Transcontinental Media and Rogers Publishing, in cooperation with Transcontinental Printing, have done with their recent launch of PressExpress, an new planning concept that harmonizes the simultaneous production of several publications.

Result: new deadlines for our advertisers that give them more time to send in their material, as well as a tool that helps them measure the effectiveness of their advertising placement faster – in as little as two weeks after they send in their advertising copy.

PressExpress is one of the innovations introduced by Transcontinental to provide its customers with greater flexibility and quicker access to their markets.
